Arrival from Srinagar Airport & transfer to hotel in Srinagar. After refreshing visit to the Mughal gardens built by Emperor Jehangir. Also visit to the Shalimar Bagh & Nishat Bagh other beautiful gardens located on the eastern side of the Dal lake. Stay overnight in pre-booked accommodation.
Morning after breakfast you will be transferred by road to Pahalgam (94 kms/2.5 hrs) Valley of Shepherds. En-route you will have an rare opportunity to visit the Saffron fields. Also visit Avantipura Ruins & Anantnag Sulpher Springs en-route, Enjoy the bounty of Nature at Pahalgam, located on the bank of beautiful Lidder River, it is a valley of shepherds Pahalgam is famous for its natural beauty and trout fishing and Aru valley, Betab Valley and Chandanwari by car(at your own cost - kindly negotiate the rates locally). Aru is small village, 11 kms upstream the Lidder River, is a beautiful locality and return to the Srinagar. Stay overnight in pre-booked accommodation.
After having breakfast, proceed for the excursion to the Sonmarg . The mountains around Sonamarg (84 kms/2 ½ hr) are covered with several glaciers, one of the most famous being the Thajiswas Glacier. This scenic river of ice is set amidst lush meadows and foliage and is a three-km walk or pony ride (kindly negotiate the rates locally). Stay overnight in pre-booked accommodation.
Morning after breakfast you will proceed for a full day excursion to Gulmarg, & visit Meadow of Flowers (57 kms) situated at an altitude of 2730 meters, full day at leisure to take the leisurely walks on the lush green meadows of flowers. Enjoy pony ride (kindly negotiate the rates locally) or Gondola ride (rope way) to Khillanmarg at your own cost – need to be pre booked online and is subject to availability. Later return to Srinagar. Overnight in the hotel in Srinagar.
Morning after breakfast transfer to Srinagar Airport for your onward flight.
